I’m Samantha Potter, married to a renaissance man/geek/gearhead, custodial grandmother, registered paralegal, author and volunteer; usually, but not always, in that order.

I named 2016 as my year of wonder, but really, the word in all of its definitions has defined my life.
I’m primarily focused on the the sense of awe or amazement that wonder entails, but I am also by nature a wondering animal. I wonder about most anything that presents itself to my attention.
“What if?“, “what’s next?”, “why?”, and “how is that possible?” are frequent bits of wondering that run through my head, even though I’ve trained myself to keep the questions mostly to myself. This year, instead of internalizing, you’ll find my fits of awe and wonderment here.
Yes, I have opinions (quite strong ones in fact), but more often, my opinions and beliefs are tempered by wondering if that’s all there is. While I hold strong opinions, I also seek out different views, both to keep my sense of wonder alive and to remain as grounded in the real world as I can bear.
